55. From Mt Nicolas Road, travel ~150m past the bridge and turn east onto the gravel road. Park at the base of the beat signpost you are fishing to indicate to other anglers where you have gone. Access to Ashton Beat (downstream) and Upper Oreti Hut Beat (downstream of Ashton Beat). There is walking access along the track on the true left. A Designated Waters Licence is required.
