Why KiwiTools exists
Everyday financial and household questions are often answered with confusing spreadsheets, overseas defaults or unexplained results. KiwiTools makes the inputs visible, formats results for New Zealand and explains what each estimate can and cannot tell you.
How we build tools
Each calculator starts with a distinct user question. Calculation logic is kept separate from the interface and tested with known scenarios. Supporting content explains formulas, assumptions, limitations and relevant New Zealand context.
Independent and practical
KiwiTools does not approve loans, quote electricity plans or replace professional advice. Calculators are designed for comparison and planning. We do not accept payment to alter a result or hide a material assumption.
Ongoing review
Tools and supporting content are reviewed when formulas, official guidance or common user needs change. Every calculator displays its review context, and future tools will be published only when they offer a genuinely different calculation.
