KiwiTools guide
Privacy policy
KiwiTools is designed to provide calculator results and finder searches without requiring an account or storing those inputs in a KiwiTools user profile.
Calculator inputs
Values entered into calculators are normally processed in your browser for the purpose of displaying a result. Do not enter names, account numbers, addresses or other sensitive information because the calculators do not require it.
Finder searches and external data
Some features need external data, including outdoor finders, address suggestions and mapped school zones. A search term, selected filter or location needed to return results may be sent through a KiwiTools server endpoint to the configured data service. Do not enter private or sensitive information into finder searches.
Analytics
The production website may use privacy-conscious, aggregated analytics to understand page visits and technical performance. Analytics can involve limited technical information such as device type, referring page and approximate location.
Cookies and advertising
KiwiTools does not currently require an account. If advertising, consent tools or additional services are introduced, this policy must be updated before those services are enabled and any legally required consent must be collected.
External websites
Links to government agencies, land managers and other sources open third-party websites with their own privacy practices. KiwiTools is not responsible for how those external services process information.
Policy updates
This policy may change as the website adds features. Material changes should be reflected on this page with an updated review date before the related feature is launched.
