KiwiTools guide
KiwiTools disclaimer
KiwiTools provides general information for education, planning and comparison. Results and finder records are not guarantees or personalised professional advice.
Tax, pay and KiwiSaver tools
Results can differ because of tax codes, pay-period rounding, irregular earnings, eligibility, other income, employer payroll treatment and future rule changes. KiwiSaver projections depend on contribution, return, fee and inflation assumptions and do not predict investment performance.
Mortgage and property tools
Results are not lending decisions, pre-approvals, valuations, legal advice or confirmation of KiwiSaver withdrawal eligibility. Lenders, councils and property professionals use verified information, property-specific costs and their own policies. Rental returns, buying costs and affordability can change materially.
Electricity, solar and appliance tools
Results are not guaranteed bills, savings or payback periods. Actual outcomes vary with tariffs, fixed charges, equipment, weather, degradation, export arrangements, installation design, household behaviour and measured consumption.
Transport, travel and plan comparisons
Fuel, RUC, EV, flight and mobile-plan results depend on the prices, fees, usage, distance, inclusions and time periods entered. They are not provider quotes and may exclude eligibility conditions, promotions, maintenance, delays, resale values or other costs unless explicitly included.
Outdoor finders and safety information
Track, hut, campsite and dog-walk results can be incomplete or become outdated. A listing does not confirm access, safety, availability, a booking or permission to take a dog. Check current weather, alerts, closures, local signs and the relevant land manager before travelling.
School zones, dates and external data
Address matches and mapped school zones can be incomplete, outdated or uncertain near a boundary and do not confirm enrolment. Holiday, anniversary and leave results depend on the selected work pattern and maintained dates. Confirm important results with the school, Ministry of Education, Employment New Zealand or another relevant authority.
Your responsibility and no warranty
Verify inputs and check important decisions with the relevant agency, lender, council, provider, land manager, manufacturer or qualified professional. KiwiTools aims to provide useful, carefully maintained information, but availability, completeness and accuracy are not guaranteed. Do not use a result as the sole basis for a financial, tax, legal, safety or eligibility decision.
