Access poit 1 - In Ohakune, turn onto Goldfinch Street from SH3. Continue along, the road turns into Mangawhero Terrace and then Ohakune Mountain Road. Park in the carpark opposite the public toilets at the walk entrance. Follow the walking track down to the river.
