46. From SH94 Te Anau-Mossburn Highway, turn east onto the gravel track. Follow the gravel track, over the cycleway and you'll come to a gravel extraction area. Upstream from here, a voluntary beat system applies. So, if you wish to fish upstream, then park at the base of the So Big Creek Beat signpost to indicate to other anglers where you are fishing. Downstream, the river is open access and normal fishing etiquette applies. A Designated Waters Licence is required.
