Upstream of SH5, a reserve provides public access to the river all the way to Whites Road. The access track begins at the bush bridge on the true left. A stile on the true left provides entry into the reserve (which crosses some farmland) and access to the river. Parking is not available off SH5, so parking around the corner on Webster Road may be more convenient. As this is a busy road, do not leave valuables in your vehicle.
