50. Look for the access gateway and signage on the eastern side of Oreti Road. Drive through the gate along the public R.O.W to access the river. You can drive through the paddocks to reach the Three Kings Beat (upstream) and Windy Hill Beat (downstream). Please leave all gates as you find them and keep to the obvious vehicle tracks within the paddock. Park at the base of the beat signpost you are fishing to indicate to other anglers where you have gone. Please note that this access point can be closed for lambing in October, and the track down the river terrace can become slippery when wet. If you leave a car at the roadside, please leave a note attached to the beat sign. A Designated Waters Licence is required.
