This is the former 'Studholme Saddle Biv', relocated in 2022, and renovated in 2025.
This hut is accessed on the North Whetu Bivvy Track, which branches off the Makino Hut to Bush Edge Track. The track may not be marked, so good navigation is required. The area is subject to strong winds and adverse weather conditions.
