This is a basic four-bunk hut in the Hokitika area.
Yeats Ridge Hut is a four-bunk hut at 970m, overlooking Toaroha Valley. It sits in a large basin surrounded by sub-alpine scrub and red tussock. There is no fireplace, but there is space for an outdoor fire if you bring deadwood from the forest. There is also no toilet, but a shovel is provided. Camping isn't recommended due to extensive peat bogs and a lack of dry campsites. Yeats Ridge Hut is located on a route that is no longer maintained by DOC. This route receives some maintenance on a sporadic basis by Permolat, who also provide information about the route to this hut on their website. Yeats Ridge Hut on Remote Huts website
