This campsite is located beside the Waitawheta River, known for its trout and some great swimming holes downstream. There is a year-round liquor ban at the campsite.
Fires not permitted at any time. A permanent year-round liquor ban is in place in Dickey Flat. Keep liquor away from the site, including in vehicles. During heavy rain or a major weather event this campsite may be closed for safety reasons. Please check for alerts at the top of this page. Access to camping sites requires walking in from the car park. Caravans, campervans and motorhomes less than 11 m long are able to set up in the carpark, near the walk in area to the campsite. The camp manager will collect your fees during your stay at the campsite. Cash only is accepted at this campground. There is no eftpos available. There is a maximum of seven days per stay for this site.
