Intersecting with several other tracks within East Harbour Regional Park , Main Ridge Track provides easy access to the eastern bays and northern forest. This shared track winds its way through lush native forest and has plenty of opportunities for walkers to veer off to Wainuiomata, Eastbourne or Days Bay.
The track starts from the summit of Wainuiomata Hill and ends at Williams Park in Days Bay. It can be travelled in both directions. There are regular bus and ferry services to the eastern bays, Wainuiomata and the surrounding areas.
