Track description Enjoy the shade on a hot day and learn about the various vegetation zones in Tongariro National Park. Getting there This walk starts opposite the southern entrance to the Holiday Park opposite the Fire Station. If just visiting for the day, park opposite the Visitor Centre, and then walk 250m up the road. Use this location in Google Maps to find your way there.
